Dear friends, It has been a great time visiting in the USA and connecting with all our ropeholders back home. Your prayers and encouragement have meant so much to us. I've traveled over 6000 miles in the last seven weeks and although I am tired, the work has only begun. The Grant's will continue to minister in the Philippines and we will not have to move our living location for now. We rent a home in a neighborhood and our landlord will let us stay for another contract starting in June.

During the last few months, I have learned so much about trusting the Lord in all things. As I was driving through several states, I observed lots of signs pointing to various destinations along the route. It was always tempting for me to try and
outsmart or trick my GPS Guide (Garmin) by trying a different street than it was telling me to go. All the while, the Garmin is screaming in my ear to turn around and go back. Inevitably, I would here the voice of the Garmin saying, "
Re-Calculating". It was trying to get me to turn around, but at this point I would just turn it OFF to avoid hearing the voice.
It's interesting to follow the directions of a Garmin because I found that my own internal sense of direction was off-kilter. Not because I was lost, but because I was following the directions of a more informed guide. Needless to say, I made it home.
Oh Boy! Here's were the rubber meets the road, I can hear the Holy Spirit telling me daily - u-turn, turn around, don't go this way, wrong way, park it, don't get off here. Can you hear Him too? I found that I tend to want to follow my own internal path or direction in life and find my own way to the destination the Lord wants me to go. It's as if I want to beat God to the destination and say, "See Lord, I made it with out you !" but the Lord is so GOOD to gently whisper,
Re-calculating, u-turn needed !
Will you turn and follow Him my friend?
